ELS (Electrolyte LEVEL SENSOR) is a device-sensor for 24/7/365 monitoring of battery electrolyte levels that ensures reliability of power systems and meets NERC standards.
Equipped with proven infrared (IR) technology and warning and alarm capabilities, the device flashes the alarm the electrolyte level is low which indicates a probable imminent battery malfunction, failure or even permanent damage.
The ELS meets NERC PRC-005 requirements, eliminates frequent inspections, and significantly reduces the labor time of visual inspections. By helping to maintain the proper electrolyte level, it ensures safe and reliable battery performance by monitoring the correct electrolyte levels.
With ELS it is possible to bring alerts into one centralized system for better ROI.
The ELS System is equipped with an LED of to also display locally the alarm of LOW electrolyte level, without the need for Software.
It also includes an NC contact for signaling remote through a customer alarm system(Supervision).
In addition, it easily integrates to the BVS-S5 system , if present, which monitors the voltage and impedance of individual battery cells.
